    Default Sentinel Moon

Another Yosemite photo looking up Sentinel Rock.

    D3 + 24-70 f/2.8 @ 70mm 1/15 at f/16 ISO200 tripod, mup, remote. Quick to catch the moon... moves surprisingly fast.

Not much of the original color - dark grays and white clouds. Curves color adjustments in CMYK and LAB. Topaz Adjust. Final due to LAB curves.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

    Nice image and application, Michael.

Like the rock texture and moon addition.

Moon added by timing and camera position (not post-processing)...

Michael, Great timing for the half moon capture in the crook. I like the color tones and I'm glad you left the side on the right. I might take a small slice off the top if it were mine. Very nicely done.

Nice work to capture the moment Michael. I like the placement of the moon and the color rendition. One of my favorite places on earth...

    Steve, Denise, Cheryl, Kerry, Paul,

Thanks much for the comments. Looking over the series of this I took, the clouds were moving even faster than the moon in respect to the rocks... very happy I caught this.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-
