    Would you believe...

At great personal risk, I managed to obtain a close up of this rare, Brazilian, nearsighted beast. :D

OR... I took my "Blue 2" BF post and applied an add-on Pixel Bender filter called Doste.
Layered with a Frac, Pixel Bender - Tube View and CS5 HDR toning (single image).
    LR adjustments and vignette.

    Mark, You inspired me. ;)

    All C& C welcome.

Awesome. It looks like a hand blown glass ball with a kaleidoscope on top. Beautiful intricate detail. I do wish there was a bit more room top and bottom but wow! I like it a lot.:)

    Steve,

Greetings. Very cool... looks fractal. I like the detail (guessing 200K limit was tough).

    Cheers,

    Nice image and application, Steve.

You should have zoomed out just a little to get the whole image in the frame. But given your first experience with this species ... I guess we can accept what is there! :D

    Nice colors and shapes.

Thanks everybody. Appreciate your comments. :) In fact I was motivated to wake the beast again to obtain a wide-eyed view.

Re-post rocks Steve! I really like your creativity and technical mastery here. Very nicely done. Love the colors, warping, and the bits of Mandelbrot set showing up in there. ;)
