I might have posted this before but cannot rememeber. This was photographed in Colonial Park, NJ.

Beautiful light on this one, Dave! Those soft colors look great!
I think I'd look at taking a very small slice off the left to just outside the white petal edge. Also, some off the bottom to just below the edge of the second petal would remove the distractions of the bottom cut off petal and that light area in the LRC.
I think what I like most about this is the blue tint at the edges and the warm yellows at the center - this really has a gorgeous color palette and you really did a great job of capitalizing on it.
I can handle the bottom petal being cut off because the top one is as well - this provides enough symmetry IMO to carry it off. Well done!
Great job on this one Dave and thanks for filling in! Sweet light and super comp make this one a winner all the way! home for a day and then a couple of more weeks of fill in duty for you!
What a gorgeous image! Just love the layers of petals in the center, the curves, and the luscious colors. Wow! I would do something more drastic than above suggestions--I'd crop all around to focus on that beautiful center. Here is one quick idea for how to do it. I added some orange to UR and L corners.
I really like this, the open petals around the edges gives a soft, rich, classical touch to the photo - the tight crop is excellent too, more modern looking somehow. Your colors are exquisite. Beautiful.
