    Default Blue 2

Just having some dreamy fun with the theme and a couple of real blue BFs. Masked and blended several layers in CS5 using, Frac, Pixel bender-Oil paint, Topaz simplify-wood carving and Topaz adjust-Sketch-color. Thought about masking back more detail in the BFs but ... left it whimsical.
    All C&C welcome.

Steve, Very beautiful work on the BF's. I like the way you processed them. I might try to get a bit more detail out of the center of the yellow flower blooms if it were mine. Very appealing image!:)

    Hi Steve,

I really like what you have done with this one. Agree with Denise on a little more detail in the blossoms.

Good ideas, denise and Andrew. Here's a version with a bit more detail... color... and one eviction. :)

Steve, I could see this one both ways (no, I'm not a politician!). I like the soft, dreamy look and I could see a sharper version too. Either way I like it a lot. The re-post is better, especially without that branch in the LRC.

    Nice image and application, Steve.

Steve, I like the repost with the added detail. Nice use of the wood carving filter - I've never gotten anything I liked with it:)

I would like something between the two but closer to Pane 1 as the flowers in the reposts steal our attention from those killer blue flutterbys.

Thanks Connie, Cheryl and Artie for your time and comments.
Artie, I wondered the same thing about the amount of color...
