    Hey Wendell, nice look at the Willet. Some of the bright tones seem a bit too bright...easy fix in Levels. Good HA, and the circles in the water in LLC are really neat. A bit tight in the frame - not sure you needed the 2X TC at this point, or pulling back on the zoom would have been an option, as would have pointing your lens left to off-center your subject.

    Daniel, since the histogram showed the whites to be "OK", I went with no levels adjustment, but see the improvement upon implementing your suggestion. I find I use the 2X TC at the max almost all the time . . . guess i should get a 400 prime and "back-up" when need be, though price is a deterrent . . .

    Nice image. Agree with Daniel's comments re bright tones. More importantly IMO is the angle. Getting down low would have made this image so much stronger. And yes, I realize that it is not always possible. JR
