Could be just me but I think a bit more of the perch in the image would be nice. Looks like it is quite a thick branch though. Perhaps a slightly looser crop. Nice and sharp and great colours and exposure:D

    Haim:

I had the same initial reaction as Paul about the perch. By being cut off, it seems to be more massive than perhaps it really is?
Good looking bird, well exposed, nice head position, prey.

Might consider a bit of shadow work on the underwing areas.

    Cheers

Great bird and the fish is a nice touch!

Would trade less room at the top for a bit more on bottom.

Thank you very much for your comments.
I had the same feeling about the perch. But look for yourself how a relatively large perch comparison the bird.
...and this version don't make my feeling better.

Nice attitude! Sharpness and DOF are fine, too. The composition of the 1st post works better, for sure.
IMHO there is a slight lack of contrasty on the kingfisher's body. Was the original somewhat underexposed?

    Thank you Xavier.
The original is 1/3 under exposed.

Ahhh, I can see why you cropped it the way you did!! You're original is the best you could do with the situation I think.
