Some GBH are continuing to look for nesting sights at wako. This beauty was staking out this spot early. Saw him later displaying for a mate and beginning to bring sticks to this site. Image created early morning before the sun achieved the horizon.

A classic silhouette, David, Maybe vertical?
I'll be there Thursday with a student, Green CAy too, hope the GBHs are still dancing around as they were last Friday! What a show!!!!
I like it a lot David !!!! Can work well as is or vertical as suggested by Fabs
Besides exposure I find the key to these images is sharp borders and always select the bird to sharpen I like it a lot btw a labor of love would be isolating the bird with the main perch only!!!!
Lovely silhouette, David. Beautiful colours and sharpness. I like it as is. I think a vertical crop would be too tight unless you add canvas or have more space above.
