    Default The Tree Swallows are back

    Here's my first post. I shot this Tree Swallow yesterday at San Joaquin Wildlife Sanctuary.



    Canon 20D, Canon ef 400mm f5.6, handheld.
    Tv= 1/1600, Av = f5.6, Iso = 200

    You did a very nice job getting that iridescence to shine. I always get excited to see the tree swallows.....it means that spring is near. Well composed, good detail and wonderful eye contact. I guess if I could wish for anything, it would be that the wood platform be natural and not painted....I'd be tempted to crop a little more off the bottom of it. Well done.

    I love it Hung beautifully captured nice details and pose. Its nice when you can get one that isn't flying such busy little birds.
