This was made Dec 30, 2008 when the sunset was pretty far South from just below the dam looking down river. I love the colors! Enhanced a bit but the river really was quite blue! Canon 50D, f3.2, ISO 400, 1/50s, 17 - 55 IS.

    HI Judy,
Colors look a bit over the top......but as I like bold colors.....personal preference thing. I do think this would make a much stronger pano.....eliminating a good portion of the sky. Just seems to work better for my tastes and accentuates the horizontal lines.

Hi Judy, Agree with Roman on all points. IMO this would make for a stronger image as a pano. Either bringing it down to the solid pink or a small bit above it. Haven't quite made up my mind...

Here's a cropped and slightly desaturated version. What do you think? I think I like the original better.

    Judy,

I am the reverse here, leave the sky but get rid of the bottom near FG line of bushes. Just start with water on the bottom.

I did what Robert suggested and lost the foreground. I tilted it slightly to have more water showing.

Hi Judy - Nice exposure and I like the comp. For me, your original crop works best. I really enjoy the wispy clouds on top and I like the framing of the treeline. Maybe stitching 2 frames would have enriched the view?
