    Default Cuban Iguana

    Name: Cuban Iguana #1.jpg
Views: 44
Size: 119.5 KB
Cuban Iguana photographed on the island of Cayo Largo (ISO 200, f8 @ 1/800 sec. handheld with 80-400 VR lens). Cloned out a distracting bit of palm frond leading from eye on right side of image to the edge of the frame. I have wondered about moving the Iguana lower in the composition to add a bit more space above the Iguana's head.

    Look forward to comments.

You did well in what looks like relatively harsh light. The detail inside the mouth is amazing. I am fine with the basic framing but the clipped toes bug me a bit. EXP and SH right on.

Agree with Artie onthe clipped toes. Looser or tighter (head close-up). Andrew, it is very easy to loose track of the frame edges when staring down the mouth - force your eye to run around the sides after you frame the image looking for distractions.

I agree with the others. A tight crop might work very well.
