    Some experimenting with lighting...
    This image is of the same individual I posted a while back.
    This time, I did not focus-stack and instead used f/32 for better DOF and an off-camera flash from the left.

    Techs:
    Nikon D300, Nikkor 105mm VR micro, tripod
    f/32, 1/250, ISO200

    Views, critique welcome...

    I much preferred your first posting of this guy. This one seems overly dark with little detail !

    Hey Kaushik,
    I like the OP better to....but here's the thing.....allowing more ambient light by going to ISO 800 and 1/125 sec with the flash would allow more ambient light in....making the BG greener/lighter.....and the flash would freeze the motion........just keep that in mind for the next experiment.

    Thank you Roman. Well, exposing for ambient light was not a problem in this scene. I just wanted to try out some stuff like above :)

    Hi Kaushik. Here's another vote for your original comp. I just like the tighter crop and light on that image. :)
