    Default Seagull

Manually Focused Olympus E-3 with OM 350mm f2.8

A little easier when they fly parallel to the camera :)

Wow, manually focused! My hat is off to you. Sharp with a good EXP. I like the strip at the bottom. I wish that the far wing were raised.

What gull is this? (It does not look right to me for any N.A. gull species. Where do you live?

Thanks Artie. This was taken in the SF Bay Area. Thanks to the work of some good people, this newly opened marshland was opened for the enjoyment of the birds and us! Oh, I don't know the name of the gull.

Mighty fine job NED - Manual focus on a BIF :)
Arties points are valid - still lots to like here :) - Caught him flying towards you! Exposure looks good.

    Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks Ned. That skinny bill threw me off. I will need to hit the books.... It might be some sort of young California Gull.
