You got my brain when I was looking at the thumbnails; it went, "Whoa!" I love the new species name and the photograph and the new color. Some Eye Doctor work is needed. This must have been a beautiful capture.

Ken, the base image must have been stunning as is the blue morph. Nice work:)

Ken, This is way cool.. I love the color of the blue- how did you get such a great likeness? The eye could use some work as noted by Artie. Fantastic pose and sharp details. Nicely presented.:)
Ken, I was puzzling over the thumbnail also! This is very cool. Always loved the Cardinals (from Indiana) but I've never seen one this color - not even in the 60's! Would love to see the original.

Very creative and cool... The color has worked well here and believable for an unsuspecting one.. I would have reached out for the Sibley!
Nice image and application, Ken.
Great work on the color choice.
In this case it was really easy. Selecting the red in the Replace Color adjustment and then bumping up the hue to maximum gets you most of the way there on a male Cardinal. Then you can fine tune it. Other than that, I painted (erased) back in the beak to its normal color.
I may have posted the original in the avian forum awhile back. If not, I'll do it in the near future.
It's amazing how well you have matched the color of male Indigo Bunting, at least as perceived by my mind :)
