Here is another IR image from our public garden, Kanapaha Botanical Garden. I used diffuse glow on this one.

    Thanks for looking. C&C appreciated:)

Cheryl, I just love this one. I took it into PS and tried to level itthen I toned down just a tiny bit of the glow. I also cropped a little(just personal preference) but this scene is lovely and I think you did a great job with the IR. If I didn't sell my 40D I would have it converted. You have inspired me with your use of softness and IR combined.:)

Denise, Thanks. Did you crop off the left side? I started to but decided to leave the 2 trunks on the left side in the middle. I had intended to sell my 30D but procrastination is sometimes a good thing;)

Judy, thank you. I just started using it on some of the IR images that I took at the gardens.

Cheryl, I didn't crop off the left for the same reason you gave. I did post it but accidentally took it off. I will try to repost it later.

Wow Cheryl, I really like the combination of the IR with the soft diffuse glow. This has an almost fairy tale look to it. Ok, now your starting to give me a complex :D

Thanks everyone. Denise, thanks for the link for Paul. LifePixel is the company that converted my 30D. I'm still learning how to process in PS. I figured out something today that I'll try on some of my images from now on.

Lovely image and process, Cheryl. The mix of elements and tones are very pleasing. The mids and darker areas are very intriguing.

Agree with all comments above, really nicely done image! Love the ethereal quality you have achieved. Thanks for sharing your interest in IR, I really like the technique.

    Nice image and application, Cheryl.

Almost makes me want to buy a used camera and try it. ;)

But there are too many other neat toys out there that my wife won't let me buy! :( :D
