Kicking off the blue theme with a re-post. I did this a while back, stumbling upon it in the process of doing a "mini-world". The original was flipped and then made square. Colors were tweaked to get the blueness. I originally called this "Blue Kingdom". Looking forward to all your blueness! :)

    Kerry,

Greetings. Oh, very cool! Has a very Gothic feel... Night on Bald Mountain (Fantasia)... Some non-flipped elements would put this over the top for me, maybe just on the sides... In any event, the color and concept are great!

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

That one is right up my alley! I love the colors and the composition.

Kerry, I like the recreation. This really does have a gothic look to it as Michael mentioned. I might like it with a small crop off the bottom. Very nice way to kick off the theme!!:)

Powerful image and foreboding mood. Great job, Kerry! If I were Frodo, I would turn back. :)

Thanks for comments! I can see some other possibilities for this image based on your feedback. Steve, you know that Frodo won't turn back! :)
