    Stephen:

    Nicely exposed with good detail in the darker feathers, lovely colors, interesting take off pose, like the trail of drops , open bill.
    Framing perhaps a bit tight for my personal taste, but it works as shown.
    I might sharpen the face just a touch more.

    Great warm light and BG, Stephen. A little more room would be nice and an easy canvas extension if you don't have it. I like the kinked neck showing the "darting" mechanism.

    stephen this is awesome freeze. liked the wing position and the open bill is plus. i would have clone down that dark patch between the wing spread.

    Wow, I am glad that I came back for this one. It is perfect. Great wing position, perfect head angle, and sharp enough. Very sweet. I am nominating it for IOTW.
