    Another attempt at the blur effect. I am looking forward to reading Denise and Artie's book. I can see where one would get very hooked on this technique. In the meantime, I thought Chihuly's glass sculpture was an interesting subject for blurs. Don Hamilton posted one a few weeks ago from our visit to Fairchild gardens in Miami. Hope you enjoy this one.
    Sony a700, 180mm Sigma macro
    f32, ISO100, 1/2 sec Used the narrowest aperture and lowest ISO I could get, but still had to apply -1.4 exposure in postprocessing.

    Connie, I agree with you the glass has a lot of interest to me and might be worth a trip down to Miami when I go to FL. Beautiful colors and blur. I like this a lot. I do wish that the bright area at the top had a bit more detail, but this is just wonderful and inspiring! Thanks for the plug:)

    Connie, I love Chihuly glass and I love this blur. The colors are yummy. I agree with Denise about the light spot on the top - cropping below that would still give you a lovely image:)

    Connie...very nice blurs here....I agree that that the top is a distraction...but still very cool:cool:
