    Default Bugs

The good news is I found some bugs, the bad news is they were in my vegetable garden:D
I had forgotten about this image I took this spring to use as an I.D. - these buggers were all over my sunflowers and I didn't know what they were. Anyway, I used Frac B&W blended with luminosity, then crosshatch filter and finally I changed the hue & saturation.

    Thanks for looking. C&C welcome:)

Very nice composition, Cheryl. I love the bg texture and the colors. I also like the perspective - as if those bugs on the right edge trying to climb out of the image! nicely processed.

Very cool, creative way to give bugs an artistic pattern! I like how you have the one in the bottom left corner.

Cheryl, I even like your sig! Very bugged out look. I love it. Nice pattern and effect. I might clean up the URC(very minor) and evict the UL 1/2 bug. Awesome idea!:)

I like the effect, the colors, and the pattern, but would love to have seen this with clean frame edges right and top.... The cut off bugs---well, they really bug me.

Love the color and textures. Even bugs can be "cute" Agree about the half bug in the upper left, and wouldn't it be great if somehow you could redo the edges so that the one on the right and LRC were sort of crawling out of the frame? May not be worth the effort, but an idea anyway. Great job!

Artie, thanks! I think I'm now legally blind:D Each one seemed like it had 50 legs. I'm glad it was worth the effort.

YAW. I did give you a break on the two that are just touching the frame edges :)

Nice work! Who would think that you could make an artful image out of bugs!
