Robert - I love the face and the tightness but I find myself somewhat distracted by the bright bg. Not sure how you feel about darkening it a little.

Thanks Rachell, I wanted it bright but I think it is too bright. So figured I post and get some feedback. I appreciate you looking and offering input. Thank you.

great tight framing you have here. maybe toning down whole image a touch will balance it more?

What a beautiful bear. You might wish to level the pupils... That fine grass in the mouth is killer. If you do darken the BKGR do not darken the bear. All in all I love it. I'd lose the four specks/bits of dried grass on the upper head and the one dust spot just above the left side of the head....

    Thanks all.

Artie, I was thinking of entering this one in contests so did not clone anything out. As I recall the dust spot is a bug but in the JPG just looks like a dust spot so that will go. I have been tweaking the BG around but as you suggested, I did not darken the bear. Godd suggestion on the leveling, I had a feeling something was off but couldn't put my finger on it. After multiple iterations with the BG I have decided to leave it as I originally processed it.

Good luck with the contests. I have not had much luck in the BBC contest since I switched to digital....
