An image of a friend's son at bat treated with poster edges and fractalius, taken at 1/2000 sec to "freeze" the ball in flight....I thought this had a surreal spacey feel to it, hence the title.

Outstanding! I love the electric look to this-his feet even look awesome. Probably an optical illusion but it seems like it needs a CCWR. Maybe a tiny bit tight on the bottom. Really nice work with the filter.:)
Way cool effect. Could have been framed a bit lower and then leveled. He looks serious! All in all a nice image.

Great control of highlights/shadows. Might clone/dim the tiny white spot above his right eye. The frac put it over the top. Home run!!! :)
Nice moment captured and I really like the combined effects. Agree with good suggestions above. Very nice look.

While looking this over again with Denise I realized that pointing the camera down would have given you more of the clay and the whites lines of the catcher's box which look great Fracted. Also, great timing on the pitch. And still a pleasure to look at.

Thanks to all for the nice comments/suggestions....I'll have to go back to the raw image...I think I cropped some off the bottom IIRC.
I was trying to get rid of some green grass in the frame that distracted from the dirt and white lines.
Hey Joel. Here is a request to post the full frame original capture.

I found the original RAW image, looks like my memory wasn't great, I have some images from the same scene with the same kid at bat that have more room below but this particular image doesn't.....
Here is the full frame (re-sized to 800 pixels wide and converted to jpeg) unprocessed image
Wow that filter really made a difference! Congratulations on a fine image! i 'll bet the kid really loved it!
Bummer on the original framing :) But I do love the FRACT. Thanks for trying.
