One more from my magic morning with them.

This image is actually two images. One with the male in front sharp and a second image shwoing the female in the back sharp.
I focused on the male in front first and then on the female and merged the two images in Photoshop to get an image showing both birds sharp and not one OOf bird.
Was quite a challenge, because they were swimming next to each other really fast, but it worked.

A beautiful composition Jan! I like the soft ripples in the FG, colours of the BG, and the sharpness of the Grebes.

excellent stuff Jan. Very well executed...both in field and at home. Loved the details and angle.

Well done, Jan. Great poses and I love the water. I wonder about a touch of CW rotation but it may be just the slope of the bow waves giving that impression.

Good post-processing work, Jan - looks seemless. Sweet colours, and the blue wakes really add a nice touch of "cool" to the overall warm tones.
