    Hi
Sharing an image of the wildebeest crossing at the Mara River. I have converted to B&W to bring out the dust, glare, sweat of the excited animals.Hope to hear your comments. Thanks.

Loong-tat, very nice action captured here and the conversion was a good choice. I like that you've given room for the animals to leap into. TFS

I agree with Hilary. I also like the water splash in the LRC that implies that there is a wildebeest already in the water. I wish the faces were lighter. But since I have never seen one, maybe this is the way they are supposed to look—like American buffalo with black faces.

    Loong-Tat,

Good choice on going B&W. Using SIlver Effects Pro, place some control points on the face and bring up the luminance (lighten them). Thanks for posting.

Love the frenetic energy, power and fear captured here well done. Agree with the others on lighting the faces

I like the framing, the B&W treatment, the two leapers, and the double set of horns of the animals in the middle. And the splash in the lrc. I am OK with the dark faces.

excellent image - how did you mange to position the vehicle directly in front the crossing - we just returned from Kenya and all my crossing shots were from the side - will post some in the next week or so
