I had posted a fract version of this image earlier. This time I painted it with DAP followed by Topaz Simplify and then masked back the beetle. Applied few adjustment layers to get the final effect. Hope you like it...

This is really nice Indranil. I love the colors and the painterly treatment. I just love the background colors and texture. I would be curious to see how it looks with the red saturation lowered just a tad.

Very colorful, painterly style, Indranil! There's a cool tension in the beetle's pose. Love it! Maybe, a "Charlotte's Web" type children's story inspiration?? ;)
