    Superb timing to capture the cricket at the edge of the beak. Excellent exposure on the colours, and nice and sharp. Well captured Peter.

    Your timing was perfect Peter with lovely lighting color and detail. and a good catchlight in the eye and just enough of a head turn. Fine work and thanks for sharing.

    Cool capture, very sharp. Agree with Manos on the need for a shallower angle and would prefer that the cricket's let not be touching the bird's bill. BTW, that is one fat cricket! Later and love, artie

    Aside from the steep angle I like it a lot and might crop a bit off the top. There is also a slight sharpening halo around the edges.

    Hey Peter,
    I'm with the tighter crop group which should come as no surprise to you. The angle isn't that botheresome to me.
