    Default Grey Heron Portrait

    Shot this in Karanji Lake, Mysore , India...
    This is a full frame image. Had shot this to test my new 1.4x TC

    Comments and Critiques welcome...

    Canon 1000D, 300f/4 + 1.4x
    SS 1/400 (+1/3EC)
    f/5.6
    ISO 400

    I think this image has very good detail. I do experience the palm fronds in front of the bird distracting. I also think that the brown splotch at the tip of the beak is making the beak tip look soft.
