    Default Whale

The boat on the right is the "Beagle" that's the boat that we (Artie's IPT)were staying on during the trip through the Galapagos. I shot this from the panga boat that we took out that morning. I added the midnight filter in Nik's Color Efex along with some light painting. I originally did it for the Chiaroscuro theme but never got around to posting it. Since I have no bugs to post I thought I would go through my files.:)

    Nice image and application, Denise.

A bit dark for me, but your explanation is somewhat explanitory of that point! ;)

Not sure about the reflections of the masts. I might have evicted them, as they are not associated with a good reflection of the boat.

Like the blow. Nice to see and experience. We enjoyed it on our whale watch in Lahina Bay a few years ago. One of the top life experiences that my wife and I have been fortunate to share. Awesome creatures.

Very nice composition, Denise. I like the overall mood. The blow looks awesome. I only wish the image was slightly bigger. Btw, is the mast reflection original?
