My name is João Morgado, I’m from Portugal, I'm 20 years old, I study Biology at the University, and in the future I want to dedicate myself to the conservation biology area.
Since early age I've been interested in wildlife and animals in general, and my interest in Nature Photography began 3 years ago, since then I’ve been studying and evolving, and would like to share some of my work, and learn from all of you, some of the best nature photographers in the world! :)
Thank you very much!
I’m sorry for my English.
Bests Regards, João Morgado

Already taken the liberty of posting a picture in the avian forum, I didn´t Know if the first picture had to be posted in the eager to learn forum...I'm sorry if I broke any rule...
I'm not affraid of the critique, I think that critique is an great way of learning and evolving, and sometimes we look at our pictures and can't see many mistakes that may be evident to other people.:)
And I thought that here with so many great photographers, the critique would be stronger and could learn more and evolve more, so I decided to register and show some of my pictures:o

First I would like to say that I love your work and I'm a big fan!!
In Portugal we have a lot of beautiful and interesting birds, i just feel that sometimes they are a bit shy and elusive... But thats probably a good thing, otherwise they would be hunted...:(
My gear is Canon 400D, Canon 10-22mm f/3.5-5.6 USM, Canon 100mm f/2.8 USM macro, Canon 400mm f/5.6 USM L.
