Another in flight shot from the same day as my recent posting. PP was in PSE 6.0 with cropping, increased saturation a bit, lightend & shapend bird some. NR was Noiseware, done to the overall image. Your input is valued as always, still looking to improve. Thanks in advance.

Hi AL- like the warm light and the wings up position - best to try and get these guys before they fly past you - a fraction earlier - head is angled slightly away, doesnt bother me too much. A little more space up front for my personal tastes.
Very rarely use noise reduction on the entire image - dont want to loose any fine detail on the subject.

Al- I like the feather texture under the wings despite the NR which tends to kill this. Agree with Lance that you should run NR on OOF or unimportant elements of the image if you need to at all. Just mask off the subject and the NR will be performed on everything else. I wish the bill stood out a little more from the BG- maybe you could make this happen with a bit of dodging. Also I think a slightly lighter image may work- not too much so the mood is lost.
