Anyone use a binocular harness? I am looking to buy one and have idea what to look for -- I appreciate any tips or recommendations

Yep. The kids call it my binoc-o-bra. Really gives birding street cred! But they work. I've had two, cant recall either brand, but straight forward design & construction. I think I bought both from the ad in Birders World. Takes pressure off the neck nicely. Also helps control straps if you are also toting camera.

I use the harness made by Nikon. It's great because it keeps the binoculars at your chest, without them flopping around. And when you lift the binoculars to view, the tension created by the harness really steadies them.
