Took this one at a local nursery and the owner let's me bring in BG's. I used a straight black mat board to isolate the beautiful bloom. A reflector was also used.
Canon 1D Matk lll with the Sigma 180mm macro at f32 for 1/80 sec. HH and the MT24 twin lights at 1/4 power manually set.
Wow, rich colours here. The black BG makes everything pop nicely. If anything I wish there was more separation between the second pistil from right and stem above it, but man what overall impact . What type of flower is this?

I know that flower, it's a Rothchildia. Roman, beautiful comp, the dark bg is sweet. I love the stem coming out on the bottom, the lighting is excellent.
