This was taken from a boat going up the New River to Lamanai, in Belize, 2 weeks ago, in evening light. I thought the pose on the branches looked reasonable, and the light was pleasing. Nikon D300, Tamron 200-500, handheld , aperture priority, ISO 1250. This is my 1st post here, although I have so far posted a few to the Eager to Learn forum.

Hi Richard, this is a nice pose. Probably be a better presentation without the branch blocking
much of the bird....but sometimes ya get what ya can. The light is quite nice.

The pro's should have some more input for you

Nice light. I agree with Dave on the branch blocking the view. The angle is very steep also. I call this type of image a "butt shot" :D Not a very flattering pose.

    Keep posting! :)
