    Default 4 Cranes after PC

    Canon 7D, 400 DO, f5.6, 1/1000, ISO 800, HH, mid-day sun.

PP: Started with a wide pano, didn't like it - light too harsh. Made square by unchecking constrain proportions in Image Size setting width to height, applied Polar Coordinates, cloned out differences in density of sky, cropped to 4x5, smart filter, shadow/highlights, Neat Image to reduce noise, Soft Light blend (~30% op), sharpened.

Not sure about the image in my own mind, but at least it is now interesting, as in what's going on?

Douglas, You did add some interest to the image w/ the multiple birds. I like the way you are thinking. I might tone down some of the brighter areas. Chaos for sure!:)

Neat idea, Douglas. It definitely makes the image more interesting. Denise has a good point on toning down the bright spots. I might also crop a bit tighter all around.
