    Default American Oystercatcher feeding immature

The American Oystercatcher looks very much like the European one yet the eyes are yellow not red and the back is brown rather than black.

This image made on Nickerson Beach!

Its really too small to see much detail and if you repost -- please include the technicals -- you can post up to 1024 pixels on the longest side

Amano, Good to see you posting but as above the JPEG is tiny. At least 800 pixels wide is best, up to 1024 but still under 200 kbs. Please try to repost or let me know if you need help.

    ps: It looks dark....

    Thanks for your comments.

I export the images from Lightroom at the correct dimensions but Flickr then hoovers the image up applying further compression and optimisation which in this case has made the image darker.

    Shall try another method ...

Amaon, I thought that you had joined as a member. If you do that, you simply upload your correctly sized images to BPN where they are hosted. It's no sweat that way.

Amano, Just go to the "MANAGE ATTACHMENTS" button just under the text box in the quick reply section. Then hit "BROWSE' you should be able to add your image from your files.:)
