    This is a rescue bird that although rehabilitated is not able to be released back into the wild. So it is now what I call a Public Relations Bird. These demonstration birds usually attract a big crowd and I hope that the beauty and magnificence of these creatures up close plant a seed of sympathy and interest in people for birds and wildlife in general. I know that I am always awestruck seeing the birds so close! This is a Red-tailed Hawk.

    I like tight portraits and this is nicely done. Terrific details.

    Well done with a nice BKGR and very sharp. You might wish to eliminate the bit of left-over lunch at the base of the bill.... EXP perfect and I like the soft light.
