Love your PK, Nico. Light angle, BG, perch and pose work beautifully. The Mankwe sunrise really catches the mood of the place. Ideally it should be in landscape to comply with the forum rules on image posting with one image per post and reposts of the original to illustrate a critique point. It reminds me so much of being there after kingfishers I can't bring myself to move it though:D

Excellent IQ and sharpness on the Kingfisher. What a fantastic landscape shot too, very serene. TFS.

I love everything about this one. The pose is nearly perfect, and the exposure is excellent, as is the sharpness. Very well done!

Great pose, detail, exposure and love the curved perch...looks very elegant to me. And thanks for sharing the sunrise. Would love to visit that spot.

Nico, A lovely pose showing off it's long beak. I like the curve of the perch and the details. Nicely done.
I also like your landscape image and would urge you to post it in the Landscape forum to share with others.:)The colors are wonderful.

Nico, you and the other participants from South Africa are really whetting my appetite for your country. I'd love to have a kingfisher portrait as good as this one.
