    Default Iridescent Iris

    Attached Images Attached Images

Started with an abused curves adj layer (Thank you Kerry!) that had many peaks and valleys.:) Still trying to catch up with Mark. ;)
Added some dodging and burning in CS5 and layers of PC oil paint and Frac glow 100 @ various opacities and blends.
    All C&C welcome.

The Iris looks like a lot of flower power! I like the colors and I would warn against drinking and viewing here:p I like the detailed pattern on the iris.

This is quite striking. The flower looks like a porcelain sculpture. I would love to see a version with much reduced BKGR noise.

Steve, I think the petals look like a Tiffany lamp - they are beautiful. I agree with Artie about the bg noise but that should be simple to fix.

Thanks a bunch denise, Artie, and Cheryl. Hope this repost has less BG texture (er, noise ;)). The rest is PB oil swirls...

Noise is reduced in some areas but not in some of the greens. I still love it though!

I like the repost better. Well done! Looks like it's made out of glass to me.

    Nice image and application, Steve.

Got to keep 'em coming and I will do the same. You are getting the hang of it! ;) :D

Like the flow of this and the colors.
