Default Anyone use the NEOS Adventurer Boots

Wonder how well they actually fit. Do your feet slip around inside these?
My shooting area is not perfectly level.
I have a some hilly areas to navigate, but would like to avoid soaking feet
and pants in the early morning dew, or after a rain.

    thanks

I've been using for them for a year or so now and I'm very pleased. I can wear them with either boots or shoes underneath. Thanks to the velcro strap across the instep, I can tighten them down so that the shoes/boots don't slide around inside as I go through grass, cat tails and shallow swamp. Is it as comfortable as boots only? No, but they don't slip and slide, they keep you pants and boots dry and they don't disrupt your balance on most surfaces. I wouldn't wear them for rock climbing, but they come off easily and you can attach them to a belt loop.

David summed it up well. I would not count on them for really rough use or extensive use. Basically I have them for the few times I need to do some wading or will get my regular shoes wet.

    Cheryle--

I'll echo David and Robert. The NEOS products are not boots but overshoes. Not the galoshes our mothers made us wear, but high-tech, light, well-fitting overshoes. The NEOS are not hiking boots, but are for protecting your feet and keeping them dry. You do wear shoes under them.

We've had good luck with them and have sold quite a few. Actually, NEOS makes a bunch of different overshoes in addition to the Adventurers. They make lightweight Villagers, higher length Trekkers (good for protecting your pants as well as shoes), and insulated overshoes such as Navigators and Explorers. Some nice hip waders too.

You can see all of them here: NEOS

I think you'll find a style to your liking.

These are all very encouraging replies. Thank you Dave, Robert and Chris...
I wanted something I could wear over my shoes. When it dries up I can remove them...
Chris, I will go check out your recommendations.

I have used them extensively for several years on half a dozen countries and in a variety of conditions. I love them and highly recommend them, especially if you are like me and can't wear the typical waders because they hurt your feet.

Thanks Chris... I had not thought of that, but that might also be a problem...
How wet do your shoes get just from the condensation build up in wearing these?
I know in wellingtons or even the Muck boots my feet and pants get pretty damp
just from the condensation, sweat or whatever...

I use the Villager Superlite and have no problems with condensation getter my shoes or boots wet. I use them in snow or when I need to get through a few inches of water, like in the cattails, or for mudding. I like them so much that I'm consider a taller set for the few times that I need to get up to my knees.

The material seems pretty breathable. My only complaint is that they are a little noisy as you walk, so plan to wear these while sneaking up on anything.

The Neos breathe pretty well, so it hasn't been a problem.

    Thanks Chris...
    I think I will order a pair...
I had originally thought to get the Adventurers, but, the taller Trekker look particularly
interesting... a shade lighter weight, also...

Oh, my... the Trekker would be waaaay toooo tall for me.
So I ended up ordering the Villager!

Thanks everyone for your efforts in helping me decide about these NEOS boots... :)

    Wellll....
the Villager was wayyyy to short. I remeasured and have ordered the lightweight Trekker.
My shoes fit like a glove in the boot, so I am not worried about my foot slipping around
inside the Trekker. I look forward to receiving them this week...
