    Nice composition. Flying away from viewer usually not good, and this is no exception. I would guess the image was underexposed, lightened, and noise reduction applied; there is considerable lack of detail, especially on far wing, that doesn't seem to be caused by SS and aperture, which seem appropriate. It is amazing how similar this bird looks to our Greaat Blue Heron. regards~Bill

    Hi Haim, Lovely light and wing position and i really like how the heron contrast with the BG. I am interested if this was underexposed and lighten in post.

    It was 1/3 underexposed.

    Nice light and bg, I like the wing position, and as mentioned, flying away is a tough situation. It seems though as if the feather detail has been lost.
