This image is from the past year and I spent a complete day inside a blind, in Central Spain, waiting for an oportunity to photograph the courtship display of the male, a very heavy bird that can reach up to 16 Kg. I would love to hear your comments and critics about this image. :)

A very nice image of a very rare bird, Pedro. The white is a little hot in the centre of the birds rear end, but the capture was clearly worth the time in the hide. Well done.

Hi Pedro, welcome to the BFN forum. Took me a few seconds to work out head from tail ;)
Excellent exposure seen on my monitor with great detail and BG. A little extra canvas top and bottom would improve the composition for me. I am left feeling that I would like to see a little more of the bustard's head or maybe a catchlight in the eye would do it. But really a great attempt!!

Hello my friend is nice to see your photographs here :p This is a fantastic image, one of my favourites of your bustard series. In a month or so I will go to photograph this species to Extremadura and I would love to have one of this quality! Welcome to BPN :)

Hello Pedro! Welcome to this fine forum. This is an excellent image with a cool pose and lots of detail. For my tastes I would like more room at the top. Also, the whites are hot in the center.

One fine image Pedro and Big Welcome to BPN !!!! Sweet catching this bird in full display mode I like how you were able to focus on the eye

Just got one small are of hot pixels I'm sure you can clone some texture in the area Also agree with a bit more room at top Hope you got some front images showing more of the head/color of the bird !!! Vale !!!!!!

The warm pixels is a minor nit to me. As for the more room, that is a personal taste issue. The top does seem a bit tight. But it was certainly worth the wait! This is a gorgeous image you have here. Certainly one to be proud of. A very nice composition. Courtship displays make terrific images. This is one of the best I've seen.

Oh man. Thats a whole lot of feathers and I m not sure what's going on........but I like it. Only nit would be for a bit more space all around. Welcome :)

If a Sage Grouse was to be royalty this is how it would dress! Suggestions for improvements mentioned. Welcome aboard Pedro! :-)

Beautiful image Pedro, nice colours. Only a pity the bill is hidden behind some feathers, but that's a minor nit.

Great image mate, thank God for the eye, I was having a hard time working out which was the back or front end.

    Beautiful display.

Welcome, Pedro! Excellent first post. I agree that more space around the bird would even improve this image.
