    I think this is an inmature Red-winged Blackbird. Taken last month in a local marsh.

    My guess would be, immature female RWBB.

    Hi Mac- I've been meaning to check my field guide on this one. I can't tell if it's an adult female or immature bird. You can see a small patch of orange on the epaulet of the bird which might suggest adult. I guess the question is- is it possible to age female Red-winged Blackbirds?
