    I like the raised foot but the would like to see a catchlight to give the bird some life

    I can see a faint natural catchlight, and I think you could bring that up pretty easily and still keep it looking very natural.
    I like the pose, low shooting angle. I like green in images, but because the foreground is rather light, I might try to tone it down just a bit and/or crop up a bit more from the bottom.

    Art, Great suggestion regarding the catchlight. I do like the green FG area but might crop a little off it it were mine. Seems a tiny bit tight on the left. Nice raised foot pose.

    Nice moment if it were mine I would reduce the crop adding more space to the left, and brighten the eye and sharpen a little more.

    Nice low angle and DOF. Exposure spot on. Ditto more sharpening. Well done.
