I added some texture to the sandpiper and wanted to create a slight foil look to this. I also added some softness to the BG and bird.

I like the texture and the softness of the water and reflection. Not to mention the cute pose of the bird!

Denise, I love the pose and the effect. Also, the color in the ULC is nice. I think it'd look nice if it were a little lighter also.

I like this one a lot! It has a foil look to it as designed and I love how you were able to soften the bird but still maintain all of that feather detail. As mentioned, very cute pose that you captured.

Great soft light look to this image, denise. Enjoy the mix of detail, tone and texture.

It's beautiful. I like the hint of sunshine in the ULC and the preening pose.

Denise, you are the master of the peeps! I love this look and it does look like it's printed on metallic stock. Very lovely indeed. These are the cutest subjects ever and you capture them with artistry. This one looks like Monday morning came too soon...

    Denise,

Greetings. Bravo! I really like the effect, color, pose... The one thing that catches my eye a bit is a little blurred ridge (maybe a small wave?) just above the grass in the water (extends from left foot to the left about 40% of the frame). Suggest removal or perhaps softening the ripples behind it...

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Another excellent composition, Denise. Love everything about it... the pose and the reflection, the color palette and your use of filters.

Very nicely done, Denise! Love the pose and great effect. Has a pleasing softness to it and yet also plenty of detail in the bird. I like it a lot. :)
