    James:

    Nice shooting and light angle. Enough to the side that the shadows round out the form. The head angle allowed the lighting to work well also. I might try to tone down the brightest spots in the waves behind the bird, mainly the blob above his head.

    Very nice low shot and the phot looks almost 3D on my monitor -- I like wave action in the background and the ripple made by the raised foot

    James, I really like the colors of the water and the wave action in the BG. I love the pose and comp. I might tone down the one round blob of water if it were mine. But it is still a very lovely shot that I would love to have.

    Nice incoming pose (and good choice of vertical comp), and I like the visible foot. I too would tame the whitish areas above the head. It may be an illusion, but the area below the feet makes it look like the image may need a bit of CCW rotation.
