    Lovely image, Adrian! Very strong composition here and nice placement in the frame. You've got crisp details throughout the entire focal area and yet retained that lovely smooth BG with the morning light coming in. I can't believe you get away with using f14 in the field and still pull off that BG - you must have caught him out in the open!

    A beautiful shot, excellent detail, I would suggest lower the highlights a tiny bit - especially the thistle flower head.

    Another fantastic one! Agree on the highlights toning down.....just a touch.....but very well done overall!

    Great work Adrian, the others have it covered, lovely bg and detail, maybe just a touch more room on the right.
