    this is same subject as a previous, but made with 2 extension tubes, the previous with3. much easier. Roman, my position is compelled by the problem to have sunlight.
    Nikon d300 70 mmmacro 2 extension tubes f13 1/80 spot flash nikon SB 800 2/3 full sunlight.

    Hey Valerio, nice subject but with all that cool texture it just cries for more DOF. Go to highest f/stop and bring all of it into focus. You shouldn't need a flash for this subject. available light will work fine.

    Valerio, I'm in complete agreement with Mike. You need more DOF to show off these colorful leaves.

    Hey Valerio,
    Mike is correct.....with these type of leaves a sloww SS and a tripod is all you would need! Try the same petals but with the camera on a tripod. At f29 or 32......even with the SS at 1/13 of a sec. should be sharp because they don't move around in the wind! Looking forward to your next attempt!
