Two combined images taken with my 500....I saturated the background sliding to the right, and saturated the gull going to the left. Miss you guys only, one more week in Alaska then holidays are done....wouldn't it be wild if I ran into Artie in Katmai...My daughter and I will be there next the 9th & 10th, staying at Brooks Lodge...See you all soon...Ciao Paul

Beautiful flight pose w/ fanned tail and all. I like the head turn and the clouds are cool. I like what you did to change up the image. I hope you do run into Artie. Looks like you are killing w/ that new lens!:)

Hi Paul, terrific base image. Love the wing span and the fan-tail. Great use of the filter; the colors and the treatment on the takes it over the top.

Paul, the base image is awesome! I love the pose and the colors and the little framing really sets it off. Hope you're having a great trip (it looks like it:))

Nice work Paul! Say hello from OOTB to Artie if you see him. Striking base image and I'm a big fan of interesting skies! Nice choice of colors, they really work well together.

I agree with what's been said. I love the colors and the bird capture is magnificent.

The slight head turn, extended wings and fanned tail make this a winner!
