Never saw so many BB and Herring Gulls at one time on the beach as I did the day after the storm on Friday. This Gull was standing on the edge of the sand where the ocean broke through and flooded the beach. Sort of looks like its sitting high up on a cliff.

Joe, It does look like a cliff. Good eye for this composition. I like the pose and the BG . I might run some NR. The water color looks awesome.

    Joe"

The water color, wind blown feathers, subdued and simple palette of colors, makes this seem cold and fall like. Nice comp too.

    Cheers

I like the pose, soft light and pastel colours. I would maybe take a tiny bit off the bottom to get rid of bit of sand that is 'hanging'
