    I captured this little guy last week on a high Sierra lake. I tried to get lower but the bank was steep and with water was deep! PP'ed with Nikon Capture NX2 and PS CS3. Sharpened with Noiseware Pro. C&C Welcome.

    Beautiful image with great detail and light. Might tone down the contrast just a very little.

    Dan, I love the open mouth and the sharp details on the head. Cute pose and eye contact. Maybe a little centered but I still like it.:)

    Dan:

    A fun one, showing off the bill serrations very well. Does make him look a bit scary! Agree about a smidge less contrast. It is well exposed however, like head angle, blue in water plays well with his oranges.
