Default Birds in Habitat: LeContes Sparrow

I was not sure if one can post multiple images in the same project, so if not, moderators please feel free to yank this post.

This LeContes Sparrow was taken at first light on a very cool fall morning.

    Jason:

Your sparrow is sharp, well exposed and posed. Strong sense of early light, with the monochromatic orange/yellow palette. The challenge in this image is the reed behind his bill/head. In a perfect world, I would wish it wasn't there. You may be able to tone it's luminosity down a bit to help.

    Cheers.

Yes, just one original image per post. Can do reposts if you make a change to the original.

A real beauty of a bird Jason! The colors compliment the bird nicely. Very sharp! As Randy pointed out, I'd consider removing the reed behind the head; it would make for a much stronger image.

The bird is exquisite, good angle and sharpness. If you are willing to, removing the oof reeds would really make the bird pop out more. I might also darken the bg a bit to tone down the yellows which blend with the bird somewhat.
