    Hi Bill. Detail is very good, though the legs a bit washed out. The biggest problem is the viewing angle which optimally should be much lower, especially since the surface is quite distracting and needs to be minimized. Although direct high contrast light does enhance detail, and you have a good angle for it, it also has distinct disadvantages; such as reducing color saturation and serious shadow/ highlight problems. Nonetheless you did well under those conditions. regards~Bill

    Excellent sharpness Bill and nice HA. As noted angle of photo is a bit steep, if possible I would have laid on the ground for this one. I like the included shadow, might like to see a bit more it.

    Interesting how yellow his wing is, hadn't noticed that on any Green Herons before.
